FABRICS / COTTON / LINEN / LINEN LIBECO CARE:
We have carefully chosen our sofa/chair styles because they are refined and extremely comfortable. Regularly vacuum the fabric to remove dust, dirt, and any loose feather. In case spills or stains occur, quickly blot the stains immediately and wipe the area carefully with cold water.
We do not recommend using heavy detergents or spot cleaners as they may damage and / or discolour the fabric. To prolong the life of your upholstery, we recommend using a professional cleaning company. Avoid direct sunlight if possible as this may cause colour change and aging of your fabric.
- Dry clean recommended.
- Periodic fluffing of back and seat cushions helps keep the sofa plumped.
- Spot clean with mild soap and water solution for small stains/marks.
- Lint roll or lightly vacuum the sofa occasionally to remove any dust, paying special attention to the crevices and corners where dirt and dust may accumulate.
- Iron the covers on a low heat setting or steam iron the covers to remove any wrinkles and help them maintain their shape.
- The covers are machine washable, remove them from the sofa and turn them inside out. This will help protect the outer surface of the covers during the wash.
- Use a mild detergent and cold water to wash the covers. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the linen fibers.
STONE CARE:
Natural stone is known for its unique aesthetic and character. For regular care, wipe the surface with a damp (lint-free) cloth. For oil and food stains use a solution of mild dishwashing liquid and water. Wipe stains with soapy solution and follow with a clean dry cloth. Do not leave liquid to sit on the stone surface as it will penetrate and may cause staining.
To protect the surface from heat, always use a trivet or a coaster underneath hot plates, pans, or mugs. Using felt stoppers when you place decorative objects on the surface, will help to prevent scratches or marks. The use of cleaners, polishes, or abrasive materials may damage the careful finish of the piece. Please feel free to contact us if you need more information.
RATTAN CARE:
Rattan is a strong, durable, lightweight and versatile material. Rattan is easy to clean and maintain. For regular care, use a soft-bristle brush to remove any dust that may build up in the fibres. To keep Rattan hydrated, wipe down with a damp (lint-free) cloth every 6 months. Please feel free to contact us if you need more information.
RUG CARE:
LEATHER CARE:
Regularly wipe your leather with clean, dry cloth on a weekly basis to remove dust and dirt particles. Avoid placing leather products near heat sources or direct sunlight which may cause leather to fade. If you spill water or other substances on the surface, we suggest you dab it quickly with an absorbent paper towel. For difficult stains, we recommend using a professional cleaning company.
- Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to remove any dust or debris from the sofa.
- For spills or stains, remove it immediately by blotting the substance with a clean dry white cloth.
- Use distilled water to wipe leather. Minerals from tap water can leave white marks.
- Avoid exposure to sunlight or other heat sources to prevent fading and potential damage.
- Do not use blow dryer to dry water stains.
- Recommended leather moisturizing product brands - Leather Master, Mohawk and Leather Magic.
- Before using any leather moisturising product, test it on an inconspicuous area of the sofa to make sure it does not damage or discolor the leather. Use sparingly.
- Avoid conditioning oils that contain silicone or wax.
WOOD/TIMBER CARE:
Unfinished timber allows the beauty of the grain to take centre stage. For regular care, wipe the surface with a damp (lint-free) cloth. For oil and food stains use a solution of mild dishwashing liquid and water. Wipe the entire piece down with the soapy solution and follow with a clean dry cloth. Do not leave liquid to sit on the timber surface as it will penetrate and may cause staining. For stubborn stains or scratches, use extra-fine sandpaper (minimum 320 grit) to sand in the direction of the grain.Timber/Wood is a natural product that will respond to its environmental conditions, we recommend you try to avoid sudden extreme variations in temperature.
